- Furniture: pretty self explanatory. No bed, pillows, couches, chairs, tables, or desks at home or at work.
- Media: includes: television, movies, music, magazines, books, games, internet, newspapers, and more. Exceptions include: email during work hours, this blog, and a phone for work-related calls only.

- Spending Money: no spending money for 10 Days during the busiest shopping time of the year.
- Waste: I can’t use anything that produces waste. No plastic bags, paper packaging, or letting the water run while I’m brushing my teeth.
